About the company:

Bore Da Biotech Co., Ltd. specialises in the research and development of in vitro diagnostic reagents, antibodies, and antigens. We focus on the development of a wide range of products related to in vitro diagnostics. Leveraging our excellent technological capabilities, we continuously research and produce antigens and antibodies in-house. These products, developed independently, are exported to various countries, including the United States, Japan, India, and China. We are establishing a Canadian corporation with a mission of expanding into the colostrum and hemostatic patch business utilising our antigen and antibody technology.

Describe the project.:

We are establishing a Canadian corporation to expand into the colostrum and hemostatic patch business utilizing our antigen and antibody technology. Apart from our internal capital, our goal is to attract external investment, enabling us to sell prototypes within 3 years and generate sales in the areas of kits, colostrum, and hemostasis products. In terms of project, the desirable outcome would be making hemostatic products that can be used to humans and colostrum supplements for calves. This innovation can enhance the quality of both human and animals by adopting the basic principles of antigen/antibody to recombined products. This innovation has a great potential in agricultural field and homecare business. After pandemic era it’s been rapidly common to treat themselves by attainable medical devices and our hemostatic products will be profitable towards that change. Colostrum supplements will benefit the health and productivity of calves and the agriculture in Canada. We are planning to cooperate with local businesses to generate efficient process for good quality of raw materials. Thus if this is a research project, we are aiming to achieve enhancement in quality of life for both humans and animals as well as supporting local economy.

Required expertise/skills:

The interns will be mostly in charge of developing recombined antibodies by making stable cells using sequencing techniques. Strong scientific foundation – solid understanding of biology, genetics, molecular biology and specialized knowledge in antigen/antibody area, fundamental principles.
- Interest or experience with clinical trials on antibodies as well as agriculture and the connection between biotechnology and agriculture
- Willing to work with both the government and private sector for long-term clinical trials on antibody
- Being comfortable or aware of the use of bioinformatics such as NGS is even more favourable
- Expertise in both human and animal cell culture and being aware of CWD diagnosis and its importance will be advantageous
