Describe the project.: 

The Canadian government has prioritized cybersecurity resilience through regulations, procurement policies, and research investments. This project will focus on aligning TAC Security’s product innovation with these national requirements. It will also contribute to understanding how cybersecurity innovation aligns with national digital resilience goals.

The project will involve:

- Reviewing Canadian government policies, standards, and procurement guidelines for cybersecurity.
- Provide product design features that meet compliance requirements (Example: privacy, data residency, critical infrastructure) tailored for government and regulated industries.
- Developing business cases for adoption within federal and provincial entities.

Interns will work with TAC Security’s R&D team to bridge the gap between compliance, innovation, and market demand. Outputs will feed into TAC’s product roadmap and position the company as a trusted partner for government cybersecurity initiatives.

Required expertise/skills: 

- Background in cybersecurity, public policy, or engineering.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and IT governance.
- Strong research and technical writing skills.
- Bonus: experience with Canadian public sector projects.
