About the company: 

Sunshine Coast Health Centre (2005) Ltd. (SCHC) is an inpatient mental health facility with a 34-bed men’s facility (Sunshine Coast Health Centre) and a 10-bed women’s facility (Georgia Strait Women’s Clinic). Clients typically stay at our facility between 30 and 60 days. Since 2004, we have served clients from all over Canada, including clients referred by Veterans Affairs Canada and the Department of National Defence. We are accredited with Accreditation Canada and licensed by the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.  

Describe the project.: 

The goal of our research project is to compare treatment outcomes of the adult clients who participate in our inpatient mental health and addictions program: military veterans, active-duty military, and non-military clients. Our outcome measures include psychometric tests that include GAD-7, PHQ-9, PCL-5, MHC-SF, and WHOQOL-BREF and are administered using Greenspace Health and Wild Apricot software. Follow-ups would be 3-month, 1 year, and 2 years after discharge.

Required expertise/skills: 

Google Workspace (e.g., Gmail, Drive, Sheets), KIPU EMR (electronic medical record), Greenspace Health (cloud-based psychometric testing) and Wild Apricot for alumni support. Successful applicants can be trained on Greenspace and Wild Apricot so no prior experience necessary.
