About the company:

Industrio AI Inc. is a Vancouver-based Canadian sovereign AI company with about 30 employees. Its core product, Signal, is an operational intelligence platform that brings live data from many sources into one view, so emergency managers, police services, municipalities and defence organizations can see what is happening and decide faster. Industrio has built and run a common operating platform for the City of Vancouver, and its platform has supported large public events and match days. The company also delivers AI enablement work for public and private sector clients and is approved to the federal AI Source List. A defence offering, Signal for Defence, is in development alongside the public safety and enterprise business. Industrio sells to governments and to senior executives in the private sector across North America. Growth depends on finding the right buyers at the right time inside complex procurement systems, and that is the problem this project addresses.

Describe the project.:

This project asks how a technology company can find and prioritize public safety and emergency management buyers earlier and more accurately than manual prospecting allows. Buying signals sit in scattered public records: budgets and capital plans, council and board minutes, tender notices, grant announcements, after-action reports and job postings. Today these are read by hand and inconsistently.

The company's goal is knowledge and a working method that becomes part of its sales operation: a validated approach for scoring and ranking prospective buyers (municipalities, police services, emergency management agencies and fusion centres in BC, Alberta, Ontario and Washington State), a documented buying-signal framework, and a repeatable pipeline that feeds the company's CRM.

The candidate will map the buyer landscape and decision makers; collect and structure open data on funding, procurement timing and operational needs; design a buying-signal and lead-scoring model; test it against Industrio's historical pipeline and outcomes; prototype automated collection and summarization using document analysis and large language models, with human review; and deliver a final report and playbook.

Methods are mixed. They include qualitative coding of procurement and policy documents, interviews with practitioners, statistical or rules-based lead scoring, and evaluation of how well top-ranked leads convert to meetings and opportunities. Privacy, data licensing and procurement rules will be respected throughout.
