Describe the project.:
Transit Pay is developing an AI-powered agentic commerce platform that enables businesses to automate financial analysis, inventory management, operational planning, and customer transactions through intelligent AI agents. The project aims to improve productivity, reduce administrative burden, support inclusive entrepreneurship, and enhance the competitiveness of Canadian businesses by providing enterprise-grade business intelligence and automation through a next-generation commerce platform.
Required expertise/skills:
Core Technical Skills:
● Strong programming experience in languages such as Python, Node.js, or Go.
● Practical understanding of RESTful API consumption, webhook architectures, and financial data pipelines (experience with Stripe components, Stripe Connect, or core ledgering architecture is highly valued).
● Familiarity with data serialization formats, database structures (SQL/NoSQL), and secure token handling.
Applied Machine Learning/Automation Skills:
● Experience utilizing machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow) to build predictive classification models or text/pattern-matching tools.
● Understanding of security-first design principles, including encryption standards and data protection protocols.
Assets: Excellent problem-solving skills, experience working in fast-paced startup environments, and a passion for turning complex transactional datasets into intuitive user solutions.
