About the company: 

Ferrovial Construction is deploying a structured AI programme to improve productivity, reduce administrative burden, and support scalability in major infrastructure projects. Within this programme, Agentic Sites focuses on embedding AI agents into core site processes so work currently performed manually by qualified staff can be executed, assisted, or accelerated autonomously under human supervision.
The programme has been validated in North America through reference projects including Alamo NEX in the US and OTG in Canada, with a methodology based on process mapping, AS-IS / TO-BE redesign, impact evaluation, MVP delivery and scaling across projects and geographies.

Describe the project.: 

We are looking for a junior profile to support the deployment of AI-enabled solutions across Ferrovial Construction projects in Canada and the US. The role will support the Agentic Sites programme by tracking MVP development and implementation, helping project teams adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot and other AI tools, and contributing to simple low-code automations using Power Automate and Copilot Studio. The ideal candidate is organised, hands-on, curious about generative AI, comfortable working with business and technical teams, and motivated to help bring practical AI into construction operations.

Agentic Sites is a methodology framework to deliver AI across construction sites. The project identifies and prioritises operational processes where AI can deliver measurable efficiency, develops agent-based TO-BE designs, and supports MVP implementation and adoption in live projects and new bids.
• Scope includes core site processes such as Document Control, Procurement, Site Planning & Materials, Contracts & Risk, Critical Lifting Plans, Lane Management / MOT, Monthly Closing and Recruitment & Onboarding.
• Phase A screened the process universe, prioritised the highest-pain workflows and validated the potential for meaningful process-efficiency gains.
• The next phase is focused on delivery: implementing MVPs, supporting adoption, tracking performance, documenting learnings and preparing scalable roll-out across Canada and US projects.
• The role will also support broader AI adoption in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Claude, Claude/Cowork-style experimentation and other LLM-based tools used by project and office teams.

Required expertise/skills: 

Experience- 0-2 years of experience. Internship or junior experience in digital transformation, innovation, automation, data analysis, project management or construction technology is valuable.

AI literacy- Practical familiarity with generative AI tools and strong willingness to learn how to apply LLMs in business and construction processes.

Microsoft ecosystem- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Teams, SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint. Exposure to Power Automate or Copilot Studio is highly desirable.

Low-code mindset- Ability to understand workflows, map simple process steps and build or specify basic automations under supervision.

Project follow-up Organised, structured and reliable in tracking tasks, risks, actions and deliverables.

Communication- Clear written communication in English; able to prepare concise updates, user guides and adoption materials.

Ways of working- Proactive, curious, hands-on, comfortable working with ambiguity, and able to coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
