The project aims to develop a hybrid mobile application that transforms the way consumers visualize, customize, and purchase home décor and furniture. In response to the rapid growth of the customizable home décor market—projected to reach USD 18 billion by 2032—this innovation focuses on bridging the gap between consumer demand for personalization and the current limitations of online visualization and engagement tools.
The core innovation lies in creating an interactive 3D/2D visualization platform within a mobile app, enabling users to design, customize, and preview interior layouts in real time. Using hybrid app frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or Ionic, the project will integrate advanced 3D engines like Unity3D, Three.js, or Babylon.js to support drag-and-drop design, texture mapping, scaling, and lighting simulation. Augmented Reality (AR) components may also be implemented to allow spatial visualization of furniture and décor within users’ real environments.
The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and
optimizing the app’s performance on both iOS and Android platforms. Key tasks include integrating secure authentication, payment gateways, and API connectivity for real-time data sync with cloud-based 3D asset storage. Collaboration with UI/UX designers and backend teams will ensure intuitive navigation, high-performance rendering, and seamless eCommerce functionality.
The methodology combines agile development, UI/UX prototyping, and AR/3D model integration. Continuous testing and user feedback loops will guide iteration and performance optimization.
