Dexterra Group is a Canadian-based, publicly listed company (TSX: DXT) that delivers integrated facility management, workforce accommodation, and infrastructure support services across North America. With a workforce of over 9,000 employees, Dexterra supports a wide range of public and private sector clients by creating, managing, and optimizing built environments that are essential to economic and community infrastructure.
Dexterra’s innovation efforts are led by its internal Solutions Innovation group (iLab), which focuses on developing, piloting, and scaling new technologies that enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and sustainability. iLab operates across key domains including digital tools, smart building systems, robotics, process optimization, and client experience, leveraging data, analytics, and emerging technologies to transform traditionally manual operations into proactive, data-driven services.
Through collaboration with industry partners, technology providers, and academic institutions, Dexterra advances applied research initiatives that directly impact operational performance. These partnerships enable the organization to test and deploy innovative solutions in real-world environments, supporting continuous improvement and the development of highly qualified personnel.
Veuillez décrire le projet.:
This project supports the development and large-scale deployment of a next-generation digital platform for managing maintenance, custodial, and integrated facility management (IFM) operations across Canada and the United States. In partnership with an external technology provider, the initiative aims to design, validate, and operationalize a system that improves how front-line teams receive, manage, and execute work.
The candidate will act as the technical and operational interface between Dexterra and the external development partner, ensuring that the platform aligns with real-world workflows across multiple service lines. Initial activities will include requirements gathering from front-line staff, managers, and operational leaders, followed by validation of system functionality against diverse use cases.
Beyond development support, a core focus of this project is the structured rollout and scaling of the platform across the organization over a planned multi-year period. The candidate will contribute to deployment strategies, including configuration standards, data integration approaches, and onboarding processes for new sites and service lines. They will support pilot implementations, gather user feedback, and iteratively refine the system to improve usability and adoption.
Methodologies will include user-centered design, agile development collaboration, system integration testing, and applied change management practices. This project represents an innovation in service delivery, transitioning from fragmented or manual processes to a unified, data-driven operational platform that enhances productivity, consistency, and decision-making at scale.
