The company is developing a technology platform that enables renters to earn value from rent-related and everyday financial activities while helping property managers increase resident engagement, retention, and digital adoption. Props Rewards is working with established financial and payments ecosystem partners and is preparing for pilot deployments within the Canadian residential rental market.

The company is focused on solving challenges at the intersection of fintech, proptech, loyalty, and consumer engagement while creating scalable solutions that improve financial inclusion and customer experience for renters across Canada.

Props Rewards is seeking a highly motivated researcher or graduate student to support the commercialization of a next-generation fintech platform focused on residential renters.

The project will explore strategies to improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and adoption of financial products within the residential rental market. The candidate will analyze market trends, customer behaviour, loyalty program structures, fintech adoption patterns, and property management distribution models to identify scalable growth opportunities.

Key activities will include conducting market research, evaluating competitive solutions, analyzing customer survey data, developing customer segmentation frameworks, identifying key adoption drivers, and supporting pilot deployment planning. The project will also investigate the application of AI-driven personalization and data analytics to improve customer engagement and long-term retention.

The successful candidate will collaborate directly with company leadership and industry stakeholders to develop evidence-based recommendations that support commercialization and future scaling across Canada.

Project outcomes will include a commercialization roadmap, customer acquisition strategy, engagement framework, pilot success metrics, and strategic recommendations that support the company's growth objectives.
