Veuillez décrire le projet.:
About: Flexspring’s marketing team drives inbound leads for sales, and organic search is central to that engine. This project builds out Flexspring’s SEO and "AI-search" visibility — how the company is found, cited, and trusted across both classic search engines and AI answer engines (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity).
Goal: Grow qualified organic traffic and Flexspring’s presence in AI-generated search results through a data-driven SEO strategy — an innovation project that reshapes how a B2B SaaS company earns visibility as search shifts toward AI.
Main tasks: (1) keyword research and content planning for the Flexspring blog and resource pages; (2) backlink outreach and link-insertion campaigns across HR, software, and niche industry sites; (3) tracking how Flexspring content performs in classic search results and AI overviews; (4) testing how AI tools can accelerate SEO work (keyword summaries, content briefs, outreach reporting); and (5) monthly reporting on rankings, backlinks, and traffic.
Methodology/techniques: standard SEO tooling (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console) for keyword, backlink, and rank analysis; on-page and technical SEO best practices; structured content briefs; and applied experimentation with AI/LLM tools to improve efficiency and measure visibility in AI answer engines. The intern works directly with Flexspring’s SEO Specialist, with weekly check-ins, and produces a concrete deliverable set: an SEO audit, keyword architecture, on-page
recommendations, and a content calendar.
Expertise ou compétences exigées:
Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Science, or a related field. Genuine interest in SEO and digital marketing (coursework, side projects, or work experience all count).
Comfortable working with data — able to read a spreadsheet of keyword or traffic metrics and draw a conclusion from it. Curious about AI tools and how they are reshaping search. Clear, concise written communication, including the ability to draft a sharp outreach email. Self-directed and comfortable on a fully remote team.
Eligible to work in Canada.
Assets (nice to have): hands-on exposure to SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console; familiarity with B2B or SaaS marketing; experience using AI/LLM tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) for research or content work.
Academic level: open to any level (MBA, Bachelor’s, Master’s) with relevant
professional experience or demonstrated interest.
