Au sujet de l’entreprise:

Teqare is an Indigenous-owned education and technology company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We design and deliver practical training programs that help people develop essential technology and life skills.
Our workshops cover artificial intelligence (AI), digital literacy, cyber safety, scam prevention, financial literacy and city life skills, online privacy, password security, social media safety, and responsible technology use. We also provide customized training for organizations on cybersecurity awareness, AI adoption, digital skills, and emerging technologies.
Teqare works with First Nations, Indigenous organizations, schools, community organizations, businesses, seniors' groups, and government partners to deliver training in both urban and rural communities. Our workshops are tailored to the audience and emphasize hands-on learning, real-world scenarios, and practical skills participants can apply immediately.
In addition to delivering workshops, Teqare develops educational resources, digital learning materials, and awareness campaigns that help communities stay informed about evolving technology, online threats, and emerging AI tools. Our goal is to equip individuals and organizations with the knowledge and confidence to use technology safely, responsibly, and effectively in everyday life.

Veuillez décrire le projet.:

Teqare is expanding its educational programs by developing digital learning resources and improving how we document, share, and promote our work. Our workshops focus on artificial intelligence (AI), digital literacy, cyber safety, scam prevention, and financial literacy and city life skills. This project will strengthen how these programs are delivered, increase public awareness, and make educational resources available to a broader audience.
The student will assist with the creation of educational tools, including videos, graphics, presentations, and other digital learning materials that support our workshops. They will also document our programs by capturing photos, videos, and participant success stories (with permission), helping us demonstrate the impact of our work to communities, partners, and funders.
In addition, the student will develop promotional materials for social media, our website, community events, sponsorship packages, and outreach campaigns. These materials will help Teqare connect with new communities, build partnerships, and reach more people who can benefit from our training programs.
The project will use video production, photography, graphic design, digital communications, and social media to produce engaging and accessible educational resources. By combining educational content development with digital storytelling and outreach, Teqare will improve service delivery, expand access to its programs, and strengthen its ability to educate and support communities across Canada.
