Describe the project.:

This project focuses on researching, designing, and developing an in-house digital employee (Thinker) recognition platform that strengthens employee engagement, collaboration, and workplace culture. The platform will enable employees to recognize and celebrate colleagues who demonstrate company values, support teammates, contribute to organizational success, and go above and beyond in their work.
The project combines employee experience research, user-centered design, and software development to explore how digital peer-to-peer recognition can enhance employee engagement and foster a culture of appreciation. The candidate will evaluate existing recognition approaches and technologies, gather employee and stakeholder insights, define functional requirements, and contribute to the design, development, and testing of the platform.
Key activities will include conducting literature and market research, facilitating employee interviews and surveys, analyzing user needs, documenting requirements, designing workflows and platform features, supporting system development, and evaluating user feedback. The project may explore capabilities such as values-based recognition, peer nominations, milestone celebrations, recognition analytics, reporting, and integration with existing workplace tools.
The methodology will incorporate user research, requirements gathering, design thinking, iterative software development, user acceptance testing, and continuous feedback-driven improvement. The outcome will be a functional and scalable employee recognition platform, along with valuable insights into how technology-enabled recognition programs can strengthen workplace culture, improve employee experience, and support organizational engagement objectives.
