Describe the project.: 

This innovation project aims to improve business development, marketing performance, and operational efficiency within a growing construction and renovation company based in Ontario.
The company currently faces challenges related to inconsistent lead generation, limited digital presence, and unstructured internal processes. The goal of this project is to develop practical and scalable solutions to improve customer acquisition and overall business performance.
The intern will conduct market and competitor analysis to identify target customer segments and evaluate current industry trends. Based on this research, the project will focus on enhancing marketing strategies, improving online visibility, and strengthening client communication.
In addition, the project will involve optimizing internal workflows such
as project estimation, customer management, and job tracking. The objective is to streamline operations, reduce inefficiencies, and improve service delivery.
The expected outcome is a set of practical strategies and tools that will support business growth, increase efficiency, and strengthen the company’s position in the local market.

Required expertise/skills: 

Basic knowledge of business development, marketing, and data analysis. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM systems. Understanding of digital marketing and social media is an asset.
